Safe Air Australia service a full range of propellers, from fixed pitch to the latest six blade composite models.

Safe Air Australia is the only Dowty and Hamilton Sundstrand-approved facility in Australia. 

Safe Air Australia provides a fast and efficient service to our Australian customers. Our facility is fully equipped with process services including non-destructive and hydromatic testing.

We are able to acquire capability for propellers not regularly serviced and we are also able to offer loan propellers at reasonable rates.

Safe Air Australia offers competitive costing for spare parts inventory through our OEM relationships. Our services also include a field support option.

Safe Air Australia’s in-house processes include, but are not limited to:

  • magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrant & eddy current inspection
  • Hartzell-approved blade cold rolling facility
  • optical comparator inspection

Safe Air Limited (New Zealand)

Safe Air Limited’s New Zealand service centre is virtually self-contained, with its own electroplating bay, NDT service, machine shop, paint booth, composite repair shop, balance rooms and test rig room. We also have shotpeening, cold rolling and additional electroplating facilities on site.

Logistics services
Our logistics service team can organise the safe and efficient collection and return of propellers and components from virtually anywhere in the world. Safe Air Limited (New Zealand) is New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (Part 19F) approved as a supplier of aircraft parts and materials.

Wood packaging for shipping
All items shipped to Australia and New Zealand in wood packaging must comply with ISPM15. Failure to do so will result in additional costs associated with the destruction of the packaging and construction of new packaging for return of the goods.
